Cellist Brady Anderson recently received his Master of Music from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music where he studied with Peter Stumpf. He received his bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley. As an avid orchestral musician, he has played in the cello sections of several local California orchestras, such as the Stockton Symphony, Monterey Symphony, and Fresno Philharmonic, and Indiana Orchestras Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, and Columbus Philharmonic. He was principal cellist of UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra and Berkeley Chamber Orchestra, and IU Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, and Summer Philharmonic.


Brady is also an accomplished soloist, having performed nearly every standard cello concerto with orchestra. He also received top prizes in several competitions, including ASTA and MTNA.


Brady’s former teachers include Jonathan Koh and Irene Sharp. He has performed in master classes of Tamas Varga, Zuill Bailey, David Geber, Emilio Colon, Mark Votapek, Irene Sharp, Wendy Sharp, and the Alexander String Quartet. Brady enjoys performing many genres of music and has recorded with dozens of groups, including Nataly Dawn, Cyprus Hill, and Jennifer Hudson. Brady has also performed with hip-hop group Deltron 3030 at Rock the Bells 2012 and 2013, Stern Grove, and the Fillmore in SF.


An Experienced cello teacher, Brady served as Jonathan Koh’s Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley and at Mr. Koh’s private studio, while maintaining his own private studio in Pleasanton, CA.

 
  Violinist Abraham Becker began violin lessons as a five-year old with Aaron Klasse, a disciple of Leopold Auer, in 

  Buenos Aires, Argentina. He went on to study with Rodolfo Zubrisky, Symsia Bajour, Abraham Buchhalter and,

  later, in Los Angeles, with Alexander Traeger.


  As a teacher, he specializes in individual instruction and has a long history of coaching chamber music ensembles,

  most recently at the Humboldt State University Summer Institute. He has assisted Erik Friedman in his Master

  Classes in Brazil and has performed chamber music with Evgenia Popova, Nayan Hu and Alexander Mandl. He

  performed quartets and quintets with the Khayat Ensemble for 6 years.


  He has soloed with various orchestras throughout the years and has served as concertmaster for groups such as

  Avellaneda County Symphony Orchestra, Argentina or Solano Community Symphony, California, and for Broadway ‘ shows such as Chicago, Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, Forever Tango in Buenos Aires or on international tours to Mexico, China, Japan and throughout the United States.


He has been a member of the National Symphony Orchestra and of the Colon Opera Orchestra in Buenos Aires and in the La Plata County String Chamber Orchestra, in Argentina. He is presently assistant principal second violin (acting principal) with the Stockton Symphony, plays regularly with the Modesto Symphony and other orchestras around the Bay Area.
